We're here to lead people on a Journey of transformation in Jesus!
This life is a journey, and we believe that journey is best when done in partnership with Jesus and the local church. Here you can find more information about what that journey of transformation looks like.

OUR JOURNEY
God has a journey for you in Jesus and we want to take that journey with you. Everyone has a next step in their journey of faith in Jesus, and here is how we as a church accomplish those next steps.
Know God
God's greatest desire is for you to know Him. We're not talking about knowing about Him, but knowing Him personally, intimately and deeply. This is only accomplished in a life-giving relationship with Jesus.
Find Freedom
It's one thing to know God, but it's a completely different thing to find freedom in Jesus Christ. Your future is settled in Jesus, but healing and freedom from the past is a process to walk out in the power of Jesus. At Journey we believe freedom happens in community, and that's why we're all about getting connected. Our small groups and community groups are one of the places that happens.
Discover Your Purpose
Did you know God made you for a specific purpose? We say it like this, "Your design reveals your destiny". God made you to be you, and we want to help unlock what that design is through development and revelation so that you can begin to live your life with your God-given purpose.
Make a Difference
Living in your purpose is all about making a difference in the world around us. We all want to do something in this life that matters and at Journey, one of the ways we accomplish this is by serving together. There are few things more fulfilling in life than using your gifts and talents to bring glory to Jesus!
Repentance
WHAT WE BELIEVE
The Holy Bible
The Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and the ultimate authority on all matters of Christian doctrine. It is fully authoritative, perfect, and unchanging in its original form (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25-26).
The Trinity
God is one, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each person is coequal and coeternal (1 John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 3:7-11).
Sin and the Fall of Man
God created Adam and Eve as His highest creation, made in His own image. They were given free will and were originally without sin. In the Garden of Eden, God placed the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, offering them the choice to live in fellowship with Him or to separate from Him through disobedience. Satan, in the form of a serpent, tempted them to choose rebellion against God. When they sinned by disobeying God’s command to not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, all of humanity, being represented in them, fell into sin and its consequence—death (Genesis 2:17, 3:1-24; Romans 3:23, 5:12-17, 6:23; 1 Corinthians 15:22, 2 Corinthians 11:3, James 4:7, Revelation 12:9).
Jesus Christ
Jesus is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity, both fully God and fully man. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and died on the cross to atone for wholly and completely for our sins. He rose from the dead on the third day, ascended to heaven, and will return in power and glory (Isaiah 7:14, 9:6; Matthew 1:18, 25, Luke 1:27-35, John 1:1,14, 20:28; 1 Timothy 3:16; Philippians 2:5-6; 1 Timothy 2:5).
The Salvation of Man
Salvation is a gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not earned by works or human effort but through trust and surrender into His death, burial, and resurrection (Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16, 3:8; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31; Hebrews 9:22).
Sanctification
Sanctification is the ongoing process of aligning with God's Word and Spirit to develop Christ-like character. The Holy Spirit and the Word enable Christians to live godly lives (1 Thessalonians 4:3, 5:23; 2 Corinthians 3:18, 6:14-18; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3; Romans 8:29, 12:1-2; Hebrews 2:11).
Repentance
Repentance involves turning from sin and following Christ. Through repentance, we receive forgiveness and salvation (Acts 2:21, 3:19; 1 John 1:9).
Regeneration
Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is necessary for anyone to know God (John 6:44, 65; Matthew 19:28; Titus 3:5).
Indwelling of Christ
Christians are those who have invited Jesus to live within them by the Holy Spirit. In doing so, they make Him both Lord and Savior, trusting in His work of salvation (John 1:12, 14:17, 23, 15:4; Romans 8:11; Revelation 3:20).
Baptism in the Holy Spirit
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit, given at Pentecost, empowers believers to spread the Gospel to all nations. It is a promise from the Father, fulfilled by Jesus after His Ascension (Joel 2:28-29; Matthew 3:11; Mark 16:17; Acts 1:5, 2:1-4, 17, 38-39, 8:14-17, 10:38, 44-47, 11:15-17, 19:1-6).
The Gifts of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to build the Church, demonstrate the resurrection of Jesus, and confirm the power of the Gospel. These gifts are to be used in harmony with Scripture (Hebrews 2:4; Romans 1:11, 12:4-8; Ephesians 4:16; 1 Timothy 4:14; 2 Timothy 1:6-7; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31, 14:1-40; 1 Peter 4:10).
The Church
The Church is the body of Christ as a collective of disciples of Jesus, and a dwelling place for God’s Spirit, called to fulfill the Great Commission. Every believer is an integral part of the Church, united spiritually in Christ (Ephesians 1:22, 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23; John 17:11, 20-23).
Sacraments of the Church
Water Baptism: After coming to faith in Christ, new believers are commanded to be baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16; Acts 8:12, 36-38; 10:47-48).
The Lord's Supper: A sacred time of communion, remembering Christ's sacrifice through the bread and the cup (Matthew 26:26-29; 1 Corinthians 10:16, 11:23-25).
Marriage: Marriage is as defined by Holy Scripture, a covenant between one man and one woman, instituted by God, and to be publicly entered into before Him (Matthew 19:4-6, Ephesians 5:24-31).

Healing of the Sick
Jesus’ ministry included healing, and He gave this authority to His disciples. Healing is a sign that follows believers and is part of Christ’s redemptive work on the cross (Psalm 103:2-3; Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16:17-18; Acts 8:6-7; James 5:14-16; 1 Corinthians 12:9, 28; Romans 11:29).
God’s Will for Provision
God desires believers to be whole, healthy, and successful in all areas of life. Though the fall brought hardship, believers are to pursue God's provision to better serve others.
Spiritual (John 3:3-11; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21; Romans 10:9-10)
Mental and Emotional (2 Timothy 1:7, 2:11; Philippians 4:7-8; Romans 12:2; Isaiah 26:3)

Resurrection
Jesus was resurrected from the dead in a glorified body. All people, both the saved and the lost, will be resurrected—believers to eternal life, and unbelievers to eternal separation from God (Luke 24:16, 36, 39; John 2:19-21, 20:26-28, 21:4; Acts 24:15; 1 Corinthians 15:42, 44; Philippians 1:21-23, 3:21).
Heaven
Heaven is the eternal home for all believers in Christ, it is in its finality the perfect dwelling place of the presence, authority and power of God (Matthew 5:3, 12, 20, 6:20, 19:21, 25:34; John 17:24; 2 Corinthians 5:1; Hebrews 11:16; 1 Peter 1:4).
Hell
Unbelievers, after this life, will be judged by the words of Christ and condemned to eternal separation from God’s presence and glory; Hell, where there is eternal torment and regret along with the Devil and fallen angels (Matthew 10:28. 25:41; Mark 9:43-48; John 3:17-20, 12:47-48, Hebrews 9:27; 2 Peter 2:4 Revelation 14:9-11, 20:12-15, 21:8).
The Second Coming
Jesus will return to earth visibly and physically to establish His Kingdom. The exact time is unknown (Matthew 24:30, 26:63-64; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-8; Revelation 1:7).
