CHURCH SERVICE IN THE PARK AT 11AM

Join us at Drake Park at the outdoor stage (777 NW Riverside Blvd in Bend, OR) as we take church to the city for our annual Church in the Park at Drake Park. This will be one of the best days of your summer! Invite your friends, family, coworkers and neighbors!

After our 11AM service, we will do baptisms in the Deschutes River. You will want to hang around after service for bounce houses, baptisms and food trucks!

Parking

We have secured parking lots near Drake Park for you to safely park. Drop off your family in our DROP OFF LANE at Drake Park (by the stage), and then park your vehicle in any of the secured parking lots with a short walk through downtown Bend to follow.

JOURNEY KIDS

There will be tons for the kids to do! During service kids will get a special activity bag so that they can follow along and learn about Jesus! Before and after service there will be FREE bounce houses galore to play on!

FOOD

After service, we'll have lots of things to do, and there will be all kinds of great food trucks available to order lunch from!

BAPTISMS

Baptism is all about going public with your faith.  This is the perfect opportunity to celebrate what Jesus has done in your life, while being surrounded by the church to root you on!  You can sign up at the service.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

  • Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on during service.
  • We love pets, but they will need to play at home that day! Maybe leave the screen on for them and they can watch from home!
  • Regular Sunday services will not be held at Journey Church in Redmond or Bend on Sunday, August 31st.  We will have one morning service at 11 AM at Drake Park for Journey’s Church in the Park. 
  • Come early! This will give you time to shop for Journey gear, play in the FREE bounce houses and get your chairs set up.
  • Plan to hang out after our 11AM service to celebrate with those being baptized, pick your favorite food truck for lunch and meet some new people!
  • This will be an epic day – you don’t want to miss it – bring someone with you to hear a message of hope in Jesus!
